1. Overview

mani's tech (hereinafter 'Company') takes user privacy protection seriously. This Privacy Policy explains the information collected and how it is processed when using our software (Vesslo, KeyHarbor, SplitSwipe, HarborDrop) and website.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Payment Information

Korean customers use NICEPAY first, while customers outside Korea use PayPal first. Paddle.com is an alternative for Vesslo and KeyHarbor only. HarborDrop uses NICEPAY in Korea and PayPal outside Korea. SplitSwipe sales are temporarily on hold. The Company does not directly collect or store complete payment card details; each provider processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

2.2 License Information

  • License email address and license key (for issuance, activation, verification, deactivation, and support)
  • Device hash and device name, plus app version, build, bundle identifier, team identifier, and platform metadata
  • Purchase date, product information, and transaction or payment reference

2.3 Vesslo Local Data and Network Requests

🛡️ Vesslo stores scanned app inventory and paths, notes, tags, favorites, ignore or skip choices, update history, and settings on the Mac. Vesslo does not upload this user metadata to Company servers and does not include analytics or advertising SDKs. License activation and verification separately send the fields listed in Section 2.2 to api.vesslo.top. Update checks contact the selected source, such as Homebrew, a Sparkle feed, or the App Store; those providers receive ordinary network request data such as an IP address and lookup parameters such as an app name, bundle identifier, cask token, or feed URL. Support logs or exported files are processed only when the user chooses to send them. KeyHarbor may use optional iCloud Drive sync only when the user enables it.

3. Purpose of Information Use

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

  • Process purchases and issue software licenses
  • Activate, verify, or deactivate licenses and enforce the applicable device limit
  • Provide customer support when requested by the user
  • Retrieve update metadata and perform user-requested or scheduled update checks

4. Retention and Deletion

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose or a legal obligation:

  • Vesslo local user data remains on the Mac until the user removes it in Vesslo or deletes Vesslo's local application data.
  • License device registrations remain while active and are removed or replaced through deactivation. Core license and purchase records may be retained for license fulfillment, fraud prevention, accounting, and legally required consumer-dispute periods.
  • Support messages and files are retained only as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. Payment providers retain payment data under their own policies.

5. Information Sharing

The Company does not sell personal information. Information is disclosed only to payment processors and service providers needed to operate payments, licensing, hosting, or email delivery, or when required by law.

6. Data Security

  • HTTPS encryption for the Company-operated website and license API
  • Vesslo: License email and key stored in the macOS Keychain
  • Vesslo: App inventory, notes, tags, and update history stored locally and not uploaded to Company servers
  • KeyHarbor: AES-256 encryption for stored license keys and optional iCloud Drive sync only when enabled
  • SplitSwipe and HarborDrop: Product settings and history stored locally

7. User Rights

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by the Company, subject to legal retention duties
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Request deactivation or correction of a registered license device

8. GDPR (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right to access your personal data
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten')
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing

9. CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to know what personal information is collected
  • Right to delete your personal information
  • Right to opt-out of sale of personal information (We do not sell your data)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

10. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies for essential functionality only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
